ANDROID INTERN - JD

Job Overview

We are excited to offer an excellent learning opportunity for an aspiring Android Developer to join our team as an Android Developer Intern. As an intern, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to the development of cutting-edge mobile applications. This internship position is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about mobile app development and want to gain valuable hands-on experience in a real-world environment.

Responsibilities:

Below are some of the responsibilities an Android intern is expected to assume in their positions.

1. Collaborate with the development team to design and build efficient, reliable, and user-friendly Android applications.

2. Assist in the implementation of new features and functionalities for existing Android apps, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance.

3. Participate in the entire app development lifecycle, including concept, design, testing, and release.

4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs that may arise during the development process.

5. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Android app development and integrate new technologies as appropriate.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute innovative ideas to enhance app functionality and user experience.

7. Assist in the optimization and performance tuning of Android applications to ensure smooth and efficient operation across various devices and Android versions.

8. Document the development process, including code comments and project progress, to maintain clear and organized records.

9. Take part in code reviews to learn from feedback and improve coding skills.

Qualifications and skillsets

Below are the qualifications expected of an Android Developer intern.

1. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply.

2. Knowledge of Java languages and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

3. Familiarity with the Android development ecosystem, including Android Studio, Gradle, and Android SDK.

4. Basic understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM) and design principles.

5. Prior experience with Android app development, personal projects, or relevant coursework is a plus.

6. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Effective communication and team collaboration skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
