Job Descritpion of DevOps Consultant

8-10 Years of Relevant Experience

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Consultant to support and enhance complex, scalable, secure, and high-performing application environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, with the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver projects efficiently and reliably.

As a senior member of the DevOps function, you will play a key role in driving best practices, automation, and operational excellence while mentoring and coordinating with contractors and technical leads.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and collaborate with engineering teams on compiler upgrades, installer testing, and automation enablement.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Integrate and support static code analysis and architecture analysis tools (e.g., Coverity, CodeQL, coverage tools).
Troubleshoot and debug build and deployment failures (preferably with Gradle or similar build tools).
Enforce DevOps standards and best practices across teams to ensure consistency and reliability.
Automate recurring operational processes and optimize build/release workflows.
Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to accelerate delivery and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure accountability and delivery of assigned tasks within defined SLA/KPI parameters.
Monitor system performance and proactively resolve recurring issues through automation.
Support and guide team members and contractors in operational excellence and process improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of proven experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
Strong hands-on experience with GitHub ecosystem and CI/CD tools such as:
- GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar.
Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies — Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Solid programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, and Bash.
Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Strong debugging capabilities in C++ build/test failures and third-party tool integrations.
Familiarity with product support workflows, build automation, and release management.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Relevant DevOps or Cloud certifications are a strong advantage.
