Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quality Controller to oversee garment production quality from cutting to finishing. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring inline quality, checking measurements, identifying defects, solving production issues, and ensuring garments meet buyer specifications and export quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production quality at every stage: cutting, stitching, finishing, ironing, and packing
- Conduct inline inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production
- Check garment measurements as per spec sheet and buyer requirements
- Identify and correct defects such as stitching faults, measurement variations, fabric defects, shade variations, and workmanship issues
- Ensure first-piece approval before bulk production starts
- Coordinate with cutting masters, line supervisors, tailors, and finishing teams for quality improvements
- Guide operators on quality corrections and preventive actions
- Reduce rejection, alteration, and rework percentage
- Maintain production quality records and reports
- Ensure proper handling of buyer specifications, fit approvals, and construction details
- Support smooth production flow while maintaining delivery timelines
- Ensure garments meet buyer quality standards and AQL requirements
Key Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of garment measurements, spec sheets, and construction
- Experience in knit/woven export garments
- Ability to identify defects and solve production issues independently
- Knowledge of fabric behavior, shrinkage, and finishing standards
- Good communication and team coordination skills
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
