The role involves development, maintenance, testing, and mentoring within a collaborative and Agile environment.

[25] Senior Software Engineer/Analyst

Location: Pune

Experience: 10+ years in Automotive Software Development

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Software Safety Requirements, Software Safety Architecture, and conduct Software Safety Analysis (HARA, FTA, etc.).
Work on microcontroller and SoC platforms, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards and processes.
ASPICE best practices in software development.
Design and implement software partitioning, memory maps, linker maps, and MPU/PPU configurations.
Develop software for embedded communication protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, CAN, etc.
Collaborate with global teams and work in a flexible time zone environment.

Preferred Skills (Plus Points):

Experience with QNX/Linux, AUTOSAR, and Hypervisor.

You will be part of a dynamic team that builds and deploys cutting-edge embedded solutions across industries including automotive, industrial IoT, healthcare, and consumer electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C, C++, Embedded C, and assembly.
Develop Board Support Packages (BSP) and integrate kernel drivers for custom hardware platforms.
Lead firmware development efforts and manage system-level debugging and testing.
Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and QA teams for successful integration.
Optimize system performance and resource usage across platforms.
Document technical design, code, and deployment processes.
Ensure adherence to development standards, safety protocols, and certification requirements.
Mentor junior developers and share best practices.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in embedded programming (C, C++, Embedded C, Assembly).
Experience with Linux kernel, device drivers (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet).
Hands-on experience with RTOS, embedded Linux, and firmware update frameworks.
Strong grasp of debugging tools (JTAG, GDB, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes).
Solid understanding of communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Bluetooth, WiFi, BLE, Zigbee.
Proficiency in version control systems (Git, SVN) and build tools (Make, CMake, Yocto).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
6+ years of professional experience in embedded systems.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with IoT ecosystems and cloud integration (AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with AUTOSAR, MISRA coding standards.
Understanding of embedded system security and best practices.
