About EazyGrad: EazyGrad is a pioneering education platform helping working professionals discover and choose the most relevant online programs and degrees. With a strong brand and growing user base, we're now building a new product layer from the ground up to enhance the user experience and unlock the next stage of growth.

About Role: We are looking for an experienced Founding Engineer Lead to build our product from scratch and lead its development from idea to launch. In this role, you will define the technical architecture, develop the MVP, hire and mentor the engineering team, and ensure the product is scalable, reliable, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder with strong expertise in MERN stack and modern software architecture. Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone who has successfully shipped products from 0 to 1, taking them from concept to market, and can demonstrate real impact through the products they have built. If you're passionate about creating products, building high-performing teams, and driving execution in a fast-paced startup environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Lead the end-to-end technical development of our product from idea to launch, defining vision, scope, roadmap, and execution.
Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure system architecture using modern best practices.
Build and ship the MVP and subsequent product iterations, balancing speed, quality, and technical debt.
Hire, mentor, and lead the founding engineering team; foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Establish engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and coding standards.
Make critical technology decisions (e.g., stack, infrastructure, data models) while aligning with long-term business goals.

Requirements :

4–7 years of full-stack software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or senior engineering role
AI-First Approach: Actively leverages AI to accelerate development and problem-solving..
Proven track record of shipping production-grade products from 0 to 1 — from concept, design, and development to launch and iteration.
Strong hands-on expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and modern web technologies.
Experience designing and implementing scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and database schemas.
Experience hiring, mentoring, and managing small engineering teams (3+ engineers).
Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities and timelines.
