About the Role:
- We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Security Expert / Security Architect to lead and strengthen the overall security posture of our crypto trading platform. This is a strategic leadership role where you will not only execute but also define and drive the organization’s security vision. You will proactively defend against sophisticated threats targeting blockchain systems, trading infrastructure, and digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement an end-to-end security architecture for the crypto trading platform
- Lead security strategy across application, infrastructure, blockchain, and DevOps layers
- Conduct advanced penetration testing, red teaming, and threat modelling
- Design and secure wallet infrastructure, including hot wallets, cold storage, and MPC solutions
- Oversee smart contract security, auditing processes, and vulnerability management
- Establish real-time monitoring, incident detection, and response frameworks
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Implement secure key management systems and cryptographic controls
- Ensure compliance with global security standards and regulatory requirements
- Drive DevSecOps practices and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor and guide junior security engineers and developers
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams on risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within fintech or crypto platforms
- Proven experience securing large-scale applications, trading systems, or exchanges
- Deep expertise in blockchain security, smart contracts, and DeFi ecosystems
- Strong hands-on experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, and vulnerability assessments
- Advanced knowledge of cryptography, PKI, HSMs, and key management systems
- Experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, etc.
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and secure coding practices
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages like Python, Go, Bash, or similar
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, SOC operations, and threat intelligence platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent
- Experience working with crypto exchanges, trading platforms, or DeFi ecosystems
- Expertise in smart contract auditing and blockchain exploit prevention
- Experience managing bug bounty programs and vulnerability disclosure processes
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and advanced threat protection models
