As our creative services continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Video Editor who can transform raw footage into compelling visual stories while
maintaining the highest standards of creativity, technical excellence, and brand consistency.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative, technically proficient, and execution-focused Video
Editor to manage end-to-end post-production for a wide variety of video projects.
The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging, and visually compelling content by combining storytelling, editing techniques, sound design, motion graphics, colour grading, and visual effects. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of narrative flow, pacing, audience engagement, and platform-specific content optimization.
This role requires close collaboration with Video Producers, Motion Graphic Designers, Creative Teams, Account Managers, and Clients to ensure every video meets creative expectations, business objectives, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Editing & Storytelling
Edit raw footage into compelling and engaging videos while maintaining the intended
narrative and creative vision.
Understand project objectives, target audience, brand guidelines, and client
expectations before editing.
Structure content to maximize viewer engagement and storytelling effectiveness.
Create edits for:
o Corporate Films
o Brand Videos
o Social Media Content
o Advertisements
o Product Videos
o Explainer Videos
o Training & E-learning Videos
o Event Videos
o Interviews
o Testimonials
o Promotional Videos
o Podcasts & Webinars
o Reels, Shorts & YouTube Videos
o AI Videos
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions between scenes.
2. Post-Production Management
Perform complete post-production activities including:
o Rough Cut
o Fine Cut
o Final Cut
o Colour Correction
o Colour Grading
o Audio Cleanup
o Sound Mixing
o Background Music Integration
o Noise Reduction
o Subtitle Integration
o Captioning
o Video Compression
o Export Optimization
Maintain organized project files and editing timelines.
3. Motion Graphics & Visual Enhancements
Integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, typography, animations, and
visual effects.
Add brand-compliant graphics and animations.
Create engaging intros, outros, title animations, and call-to-action sequences.
Collaborate with Motion Graphic Designers for advanced animation requirements.
Ensure visual consistency throughout the video.
4. Audio Editing & Enhancement
Clean and enhance audio quality.
Synchronize voiceovers with visuals.
Balance dialogue, background music, and sound effects.
Remove unwanted background noise.
Ensure professional audio quality across all deliverables.
5. Colour Grading & Visual Quality
Perform colour correction and cinematic colour grading.
Match colour profiles across multiple camera sources.
Ensure visual consistency across shots.
Improve lighting and exposure where required.
Deliver visually appealing content aligned with brand identity.
6. Collaboration & Creative Execution
Work closely with:
o Video Producers
o Creative Team
o Motion Graphic Designers
o Account Managers
o Clients
o Production Team
Understand creative briefs before beginning edits.
Participate in creative discussions and brainstorming sessions.
Incorporate client and internal feedback efficiently.
Maintain effective communication throughout project execution.
7. Quality Assurance & Final Delivery
Conduct detailed quality checks before final exports.
Verify:
o Video Resolution
o Audio Levels
o Typography
o Graphics
o Branding
o Colour Accuracy
o Subtitle Accuracy
o Motion Graphics
o Export Settings
Ensure error-free final deliveries.
Prepare multiple export versions for different platforms.
8. Asset &; Project Management
Maintain proper folder structures and project organization.
Archive completed projects systematically.
Manage stock footage, music libraries, templates, fonts, and editing assets.
Ensure proper version control throughout editing cycles.
Maintain backup copies of all production files.
9. Platform Optimization
Edit videos according to platform-specific best practices for:
o YouTube
o Instagram
o LinkedIn
o Facebook
o X (Twitter)
o TikTok
o Learning Management Systems (LMS)
o Corporate Portals
Optimize aspect ratios, durations, subtitles, and formats for different platforms.
Ensure videos are optimized for engagement and audience retention.
10. Process Improvement & Innovation
Stay updated with latest editing trends, AI tools, and post-production technologies.
Recommend innovative editing techniques to improve content quality.
Develop reusable editing templates and workflows.
Build standardized editing practices to improve productivity.
Continuously improve post-production efficiency.

Responsibility for maintaining organized project files and archives.
Escalate editing challenges, technical issues, and delivery risks to leadership.
Pay: ₹20,313.62 - ₹40,732.70 per month
