DNN Technologies provides specialized data-entry and back-office support to U.S.-based appraisal professionals and businesses.
We are looking for an experienced Appraisal Data Entry Specialist / Analyst to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The candidate will support U.S. residential appraisal professionals with property research, MLS and comparable research, data processing, report preparation, and other appraisal-related back-office activities.
This is not a general data-entry position. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with U.S. residential appraisal workflows and be comfortable working with appraisal software, MLS data, property records, comparable sales, and client-specific SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate appraisal data entry and data processing.
- Conduct MLS research and gather relevant property information.
- Research and organize comparable properties (comps) based on client requirements.
- Review property characteristics, sales history, listing history, and other relevant property data.
- Conduct public-record and property research using approved sources.
- Gather, verify, and organize information required for appraisal reports.
- Enter and organize information within appraisal software and client-provided templates.
- Assist with appraisal report preparation and formatting.
- Organize, label, and place property photographs according to client requirements.
- Review completed reports for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Perform quality control (QC) before submission.
- Identify missing or inconsistent information and escalate issues when clarification is required.
- Follow client-specific SOPs, instructions, formatting requirements, comments, naming conventions, and workflow procedures.
- Maintain agreed turnaround times without compromising accuracy.
- Handle multiple assignments and client workflows efficiently.
Appraisal Software Experience
Experience with one or more of the following platforms is preferred:
- TOTAL / WinTOTAL
- ACI
- Aurora
- Appraise-It
- ClickFORMS
- Other residential appraisal software and platforms
Candidates with experience working across multiple appraisal platforms will be preferred.
Appraisal Industry Knowledge
The candidate should have practical knowledge of U.S. residential appraisal workflows and familiarity with areas such as:
- Subject property information
- MLS research
- Comparable property research
- Sales and listing history
- Property characteristics
- Public-record research
- Comparable data gathering
- Market and neighborhood information
- Property photographs
- Appraisal report data entry
- Report preparation support
- Quality control and report review
- Client-specific SOPs and requirements
Experience with UAD 2.6 and/or UAD 3.6 is an advantage.
Candidate Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in residential appraisal data entry, appraisal support, or a closely related role preferred.
- Practical understanding of U.S. residential appraisal processes.
- Hands-on experience with MLS and comparable research.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed SOPs.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and missing information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Willingness to learn different client-specific workflows.
- Comfortable communicating with U.S.-based clients and internal teams.
Quality Standards
Accuracy and consistency are critical to this position.
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Follow client instructions precisely.
- Verify information before entering or submitting it.
- Cross-check relevant property and comparable information.
- Ensure required information is complete.
- Perform appropriate QC before delivery.
- Ask for clarification when information is unclear rather than making unsupported assumptions.
- Maintain consistent quality across multiple assignments.
Client-Specific SOPs & Training
Every appraisal professional may have a different workflow and preferred way of preparing reports.
The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Participate in client workflow and SOP walkthroughs.
- Understand the client's specific requirements.
- Learn the client's preferred report format and methodology.
- Apply instructions consistently.
- Incorporate feedback into future assignments.
- Maintain the client's required quality and turnaround standards.

- Ability to work the complete 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively during U.S. business hours.

Selection Process
Candidates may be required to complete:
- Initial HR screening
- Technical interview
- Appraisal workflow assessment
- Software/platform knowledge assessment
- Practical appraisal data-entry and research test
- Final interview
The practical assessment may include MLS research, comparable research, property-data verification, data entry, report preparation, and QC.
Important
This position is specifically for candidates with U.S. residential appraisal experience.
Candidates with only general data-entry experience and no practical understanding of residential appraisal workflows may not be suitable for this position.
