About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The candidate will work closely with the SEO and marketing team to improve website visibility, organic traffic, keyword rankings, and overall search engine performance.

This internship is suitable for candidates who want to build practical experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content optimization, keyword research, and digital marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct keyword research using SEO tools and identify relevant keywords and search opportunities.
Perform On-Page SEO activities, including optimizing titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, images, and website content.
Assist with Technical SEO activities such as identifying broken links, indexing issues, duplicate content, sitemap and basic website performance issues.
Conduct competitor SEO research and analyze their keywords, content, backlinks, and search visibility.
Assist in developing and optimizing SEO-friendly website content, blogs, articles, and landing pages.
Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks, and other SEO metrics.
Assist with Off-Page SEO and link-building activities through relevant and quality websites.
Identify SEO errors and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement.
Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar SEO platforms.
Assist in optimizing websites for Google search and local SEO where required.
Keep up to date with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
Prepare regular SEO performance reports and maintain SEO-related spreadsheets and records.
Coordinate with the content, web development, and digital marketing teams when required.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engine algorithms.
Knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO.
Basic knowledge of keyword research and competitor analysis.
Good understanding of content optimization and SEO-friendly writing.
Basic knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is an advantage.
Basic understanding of HTML is preferred.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and written English skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Willingness to learn new SEO tools and techniques.

Qualifications

Students or recent graduates from Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business, Computer Science, IT, or related fields are preferred.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Candidates with relevant SEO certifications or personal SEO projects will be an added advantage.
