Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, and vendor management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in maintaining financial records, processing invoices, managing statutory compliance, and handling procurement activities related to IT products and services. Knowledge of IT hardware, software licensing, and product ordering processes will be an added advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely bookkeeping.
Process vendor invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and vendor ledgers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Support statutory audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings and reconciliations.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

IT Product Procurement & Ordering

Coordinate with vendors and distributors for IT hardware, software, networking, and security product procurement.
Generate purchase orders and track order status until delivery.
Compare quotations and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
Maintain procurement records, inventory reports, and vendor databases.
Ensure timely procurement of products based on project requirements.
Coordinate with sales and technical teams for product availability and delivery schedules.
Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and goods received.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in accounting and financial operations.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, or other accounting software.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel
Understanding of IT products such as servers, networking equipment, storage, laptops, desktops, software licenses, and cybersecurity solutions.
Experience in IT procurement, vendor coordination, and order processing is preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an IT System Integration, Networking, Security, or Technology company will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of inventory management and logistics coordination.
