Job Description-Tech Lead-Java Microservices
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write secure, maintainable, and testable, production ready code in a clean and consistent format.
Contribute to systems integration with existing systems, vendors, and third-party providers, ensuring that all systems meet the required specifications for deployment to target environments.
Maintain up to date knowledge of trends, issues, changes, and current and emerging technologies in the market bringing industry expertise to the context of banking industry and ensuring company/clients is on top of application best practices.
Proactively identify and manage bugs, bottlenecks, and issues in code
Estimate build effort and supporting planning activities.
Contribute to the software architecture, development best practices and new technologies.
Ensure solutions developed are scalable, extensible, and maintainable.
Collaborate with other developers and architects to come up with innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
Support the services built by team where required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Candidate must have 10+ experience in software industry and specialised in banking domain.
Strong to expert proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies.
Strong understanding of Microservice architecture and Spring Boot framework.
Extensive experience building and supporting APIs
Excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices (e.g. Agile, software development, test-driven development, unit testing, test automation, design patterns, code reviews, design document etc)
Experience working on SQL, NoSQL databases
Experience in Cloud computing (AWS, Azure)
Product Skillset: Strong experience in one (or more) of the following technologies:
1. Node
2. Angular
3. React JS
4. Java
5. JavaScript
Exposure to network automation, Software Defined Networking and NFVi concepts
Proven programming experience that conforms to good software engineering design principles and practices (including version management). This includes experience with API integration.
Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines. Enhancing and improving CI/CD capabilities to reduce cycle time while retaining quality
Experience in delivering projects as part of an agile team and exposure to DevOps teams, practices and tools
