Role Overview
The Project Manager – AV & CCTV Systems will oversee end-to-end project delivery, from concept design and planning through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
You will be accountable for project scope, budget, quality, safety, and client satisfaction, while leading cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
This role demands a technically strong and process-oriented leader who thrives in high-stakes, deadline-driven environments and ensures flawless execution of integrated technology projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Execution
- Lead multiple AV, CCTV, and ELV projects from inception to handover, ensuring compliance with design, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and progress reports.
- Implement robust risk, scope, and change control methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive execution excellence through proactive planning, resource optimization, and real-time performance tracking.
Technical Excellence & Integration
- Oversee installation, configuration, Programming and commissioning of AV systems — including video conferencing, sound reinforcement, PA/BGM systems, video walls, and control automation.
- Manage deployment and testing of IP/analog CCTV systems, NVRs/DVRs, and VMS platforms.
- Coordinate with IT/network teams for LAN/WAN setup, PoE, structured cabling, and AV-over-IP integration.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for all technical, commercial, and contractual communication.
- Conduct progress meetings, site reviews, and project reporting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain high client satisfaction through transparent communication, proactive problem-solving, and timely delivery.
- Foster long-term client relationships leading to repeat business and referrals.
Quality, Safety & Documentation
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE and quality assurance standards.
- Review and validate system testing, commissioning reports, and as-built documentation.
- Drive a zero-defect, zero-delay culture across all project teams and subcontractors.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate engineers, supervisors, and technicians for performance excellence.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on accountability, technical precision, and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular training, toolbox talks, and technical review sessions.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communication, or IT Engineering.
- Diploma holders with exceptional hands-on experience in AV, CCTV, or ELV project management will also be considered.
Experience
- 5-10 years of proven experience managing AV, CCTV, or low-voltage system integration projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver large-scale turnkey projects independently.
- Experience working with consultants, MEP contractors, and enterprise clients on high-value projects.
Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of AV system design, integration, and IP-based control systems.
- Hands-on experience with leading platforms:
- AV: Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, QSC, Dante, Kramer
- CCTV: Hikvision, Axis, Bosch, Milestone, Honeywell, or equivalent
- Strong grasp of networking concepts (VLANs, PoE, switching, routing, cabling, and network security).
Project Management Proficiency
- Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent project tracking tools.
- Skilled in budgeting, procurement, vendor coordination, and project documentation.
Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines.
- Willingness to travel frequently for project supervision and client coordination.
