About the role
We are looking for a skilled LLM API & Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable APIs (custom tools/actions) that power our Enterprise GPT applications. This role bridges backend services and large language models (LLMs) to deliver intelligent, real-time business solutions across business
Key responsibilities:
Design and develop APIs (RESTful/OpenAPI spec) to be used as custom tools in GPTs.
Customize GPTs with MCP & Custom Tool calls
Build secure, authenticated API endpoints for internal systems (e.g., Databricks (Delta lake), RAG Vector Indexes, SAP, document stores)
Implement API documentation in OpenAPI/Swagger format for GPT integration.
Build Custom Connectors using MCP
Ensure robust logging, error handling, and observability in all APIs.
Work with InfoSec and DevOps teams to ensure secure deployment and data protection.
Support LLM prompt tuning and tool orchestration using the GPT builder or API interfaces.
- 5–8 years of experience
Strong Experience with Understanding of LLM-based architectures and how GPTs use tools/functions.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Experience integrating LLMs with enterprise systems (Databricks) and setting up RAG for unstructured data
Knowledge of authentication protocols: OAuth2, API keys, JWT.
Knowledge of data privacy, role-based access control (RBAC), and enterprise security best practices.
Familiarity with Azure cloud services
