15+ years

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

15+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior managerial/leadership role
Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Ind AS
- Expertise in direct taxation and corporate finance & accounts
- Proficiency in ERP systems – SAP (in-depth knowledge including MM, FI, SD modules) and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and corporate law
Leadership & Behavioural Competencies:
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High integrity and ethical standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure
- Team building and people development

Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Provide in-depth financial analysis, variance reporting, and management information to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor financial performance against targets and recommend corrective actions
Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS)
- Ensure integrity of the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, and fixed assets
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
AP & AR Process:
- Oversee the full AP cycle — invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors within agreed credit terms and as per underlying agreement/PO
- Supervise the AR cycle — billing, collections, cash application, and reconciliation
- Ensure timely issuance of credit notes and full credit control as per company policy
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure full compliance with direct tax obligations (Income Tax, TDS, etc.)
- Oversee timely filing of all statutory returns and liabilities
- Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required
Audit Management:
- Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
- Ensure timely resolution of audit observations and implementation of recommendations
- Maintain a robust internal control framework with full implementation of internal financial controls
MIS & Management Reporting:
- Design and deliver comprehensive MIS reports for senior management
- Develop dashboards and KPI frameworks for financial performance monitoring
- Drive data accuracy and reporting automation initiatives
IT Initiatives:
- Drive IT initiatives across the finance function to eliminate redundant processes and improve efficiency
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team across functions
- Establish performance goals, conduct appraisals, and build team capability
- Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with business unit heads, operations, legal, and HR teams
- Act as the primary finance liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies
