Job Description:

Job Title: AHU Electrical/Automation Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad
Department: Engineering / HVAC Systems
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
Experience Level: 2–5+ years preferred

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AHUElectrical/Automation Engineer to install, commission, and maintain electrical and automation systems for HVAC Air Handling Units (AHUs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AHU/ Any other control panels, PLC programming, BMS integration (optional), and electrical troubleshooting in industrial or commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge of electrical control systems for AHUs including Panel wiring, power distribution, motor control, and safety systems.
Configure and program PLCs and HMIs for AHU automation and control.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic.
Conduct installation, testing, assembly, and troubleshooting of AHU control systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical faults, standards, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, HVAC design team, and handle/ Support field technicians.
Maintain documentation of control logic, wiring diagrams, and test reports.
Provide technical support during project execution and post-installation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in electrical/ mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in AHU systems, HVAC automation, or building systems control.
Strong knowledge of electrical panel, motor starters, VFDs, contactors, and relays.
Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with HVAC process controls and instrumentation (temperature, pressure, humidity sensors).
Understanding of BMS protocols and interface standards.
Ability to work independently and manage project timelines.

Preferred:

Experience with BMS systems
Certification in PLC/SCADA systems or Building Automation (Optional).
Knowledge of energy efficiency and smart control strategies.
