Axium Global is established as one of the leading pre-construction planning services companies in the UK and India, serving the building services (MEP), retail, homebuilder, architectural and construction sectors with high-quality MEP engineering design and BIM solutions.

Job Description

This position involves working within the MEP Team at Axium Global’s Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai or Pune. The team consists of skilled professionals, including BIM designers, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers with varied experience. The BIM Designer will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 3D models of electrical systems for various projects and will be working directly with leading MEP design consulting firms from the UK, USA, Australia and the UAE on flagship projects.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems and other electrical components
Collaborate with MEP teams to integrate electrical designs with mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring full interdisciplinary coordination and minimizing conflicts
Produce construction documents, shop drawings and specifications in accordance with industry standards and project requirements
Conduct clash detection and resolution using BIM software to identify and resolve conflicts before construction begins
Work closely with project managers, engineers and architects to understand project requirements and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant codes, regulations and quality standards. Conduct reviews and revisions of models and documents as necessary

Qualification and Experience Required:

BE/BTech in electrical engineering, Mechmical Engineering or a related field
ITI/NCTVT certified HVAC/electrical/plumbing draftsman with relevant experience
Minimum 3 years of experience inMEP specific experience in BIM modelling.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹300,000.00 per year
