Manager – AI, Automation & Digital Manufacturing
Job Description
As a role holder you will act as the liaison between system users across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering and other functions, external technology vendors, and internal IT teams. You will identify, define, and drive delivery of AI/ML, GenAI, advanced analytics, and intelligent automation solutions to improve safety, compliance, quality, throughput, and cost in regulated environments—ensuring data integrity and adoption.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functions to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.

Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and support UAT execution.

Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI, automation, analytics, and digital manufacturing use cases that improve compliance, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Lead implementation and rollout of AI/automation solutions across manufacturing plant systems and enterprise/business applications in coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Work closely with Manufacturing Automation, Engineering, IT, OT, Quality, Validation, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure data readiness, system integration, and solution scalability.

Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and digital innovation opportunities, and recommend relevant solutions to business and IT leadership.

Manage cross-functional project execution, including vendor coordination, timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and governance updates.

Ensure compliance with applicable quality, validation, data integrity, and regulatory requirements in regulated environments.

Drive change management activities include communication, training, user adoption, documentation, and post-go-live support.

Support budgeting, cost tracking, vendor onboarding, and contract management in line with organizational policies and procedures.
