Job Description

Perform advanced data validation, quality checks, and analysis to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of research data deliverables
Analyze complex and large datasets to identify trends, patterns, inconsistencies, and data quality issues
Execute and validate data outputs while ensuring adherence to defined quality standards and project timelines
Conduct detailed data reviews and troubleshooting to identify and resolve data-related issues prior to final delivery
Utilize Advanced Excel and SPSS for data analysis, validation, reporting, and quality assurance activities
Collaborate closely with Survey Programming, Operations, and Data Processing teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure smooth project execution
Provide guidance and support to junior team members on data validation methodologies, tools, and quality standards
Identify opportunities to improve data processing workflows and recommend process enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and consistency

Skills Required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify data quality issues
Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of SPSS for data analysis, validation, and reporting
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large volumes of information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with the capability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
Proactive approach towards problem-solving, process improvement, and continuous learning

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field with minimum 3 years of experience in Advanced Excel and SPSS; experience with Quantum is preferred
Experience with data processing tools or research data platforms will be an added advantage
Familiarity with Dimensions (Unicorn Base Professional) is beneficial
