The SAS Customer Intelligence Customer Experience Team is looking for a Digital Designer to create industry leading professional content designs for customer adoption content.
Our team focuses on improving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention by helping the customers in increasing the value of their investments and driving initiatives that enhance their overall experience.
As a Digital Designer in the Customer Experience Team, you will be responsible for working with subject matter experts to create digital content designs which will present adoption content in a variety of digital formats and publication in learning platforms, blog sites, community forums, and knowledge repositories. The content designs are expected to adhere to industry best practices for creating publications and digital content.
You will be expected to work on creating content with a focus on clarity, engagement, and consistency across touchpoints. The typical digital assets for which design template will be required include (but not limited to) Dashboards & Reports, Knowledge Base and playbooks, Internal and External Newsletters and updates, Training or Enablement Materials including microlearning content, Customer Onboarding Guides, Self Service Portals, Interactive Content like quizzes, surveys, Case Studies and Success Stories, Social Media and Blog Content, Fact Sheets etc.
As a Digital Designer, you will:
- Develop and produce visual solutions in formats appropriate for various media including, but not limited to, websites, interactive media, social networking, emails, presentations, video and mobile.

Develop and produce training & product adoption content in learning platforms

Stay abreast of current technology and technological advancements in the industry.

Participate in customer adoption project planning and design planning sessions.

Produces design solutions or components that meet Corporate Design Standards and comply with current industry standards.

Collaborate and consult with the Customer Experience Team and other teams / departments like Product Management, Legal, Marketing, Education throughout the design and production process to meet specific business needs and align with corporate goals.

Maintain project files; organizes and archives materials produced for fast, easy retrieval.

Evaluates and tests internal and external systems and vendor software.

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Computer Graphics, Digital Design or directly related field.

Strong understanding of digital design and/or motion design aesthetics including but not limited to website/app UI and organization, key framing, and/or compositing principles

Strong knowledge of one or more of the following: Macintosh, PC, mobile OS or other related design based software platforms and related software packages

Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skill

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, digital presentation channels and/or server protocols with basic knowledge of supporting technologies, which may include but are not limited to programming languages, database technologies and mobile distribution methods

Five years of experience in graphic design, commercial art, computer graphics, 3D design or digital design. Experience with more than one computer platform.

Experience designing multi-platform information delivery application user interfaces or a related field.

Familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint, or template-driven tools for quick asset creation.

Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or Figma for custom visuals, infographics, and layouts.

Expertise in interactive design, motion graphics, and multimedia production for immersive CX experiences.

Content Management Systems (CMS): Proficiency in tools like WordPress, Sitecore, or Adobe Experience Manager.

Prototyping Tools: Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms for design mockups.

Writing & Editing Skills: Clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communication.

Visual Design Skills: Ability to create engaging layouts, infographics, and multimedia assets.

Storytelling: Crafting narratives that resonate with both internal stakeholders and customers.

Accessibility & Inclusivity: Designing content that is usable by diverse audiences, including those with disabilities.

Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Additional competencies, knowledge and skills
- Awareness of customer journey stages and CX principles required for mapping content designs to customer lifecycle.
