Minimum Experience: 2 Years

Qualities:

Clear thinker with the ability to simplify and explain/diagram complex solutions
Passionate about automation and system improvement
Customer Service centric
Self Starter with a good sense to collaborate and build a team

Responsibilities:

Server and storage architecture, installation, configuration, and performance tuning
Remote system management (Windows, Linux)
Routine system maintenance/troubleshooting
Load balancer configuration and tuning
System Automation
Documentation and diagraming of server, network and storage infrastructure
24×7 on-call duties
Travel to hosting sites for system builds and maintenance as needed
Participate in incident reviews and problem management

Requirements (Must haves):

Windows Administration (2-5 years)
Linux Administration (2-5 years)
Storage and Backup management (1-2 years)
Large environment management (disaster recovery, multi datacenter, more than 200 servers)
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCPIP, WAN, Load balancers, etc)
Strong understanding of system administration fundamentals (SAN, RAID, NFS, DNS, Authentication)
Configuration and provisioning management (patch management)
Virtualization/Cloud (VMWare/Xen/AWS) (2-3 years)
