Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and motivated React Native Mobile App Developer Intern to join our remote development team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining real-world mobile applications while working alongside experienced developers on impactful EdTech products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Debug, test, and optimize applications for Android and iOS platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices.
- Use Git for version control and effective team collaboration.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and project planning activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of React Native and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Knowledge of React concepts such as Components, Hooks, Props, and State.
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON data.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive mobile layouts.
- Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Redux, Context API, or Firebase.
- Experience working with Expo.
- Basic understanding of Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development.
- Familiarity with mobile app deployment processes.
