JOB TITLE : FOREMAN MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE
JOB CODE : A-27 DIVISION BASE WORK FORCE
1. BASIC FUNCTION
Direct the work of all personnel in his area, initiate requests for spare parts, special tools and the like, maintain equipment maintenance records. Direct maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment including disassembly and reassembly, perform and/or direct preventive maintenance and/or overhauls defined in the preventive maintenance program using workshop facilities. Ensure safe working conditions for his personnel. Fully adhere to Fire & Safety Regulations.
2. WORK PERFORMED
A. Plans daily workload of all maintenance personnel in his area as per instruction from supervisor / Engineer.
B. Assist in establishing the work schedules in his area.
C. Performs Maintenance works of stationery refinery equipment such as steam boilers, heat exchangers, vessels, towers, direct fired heaters, tanks and associated piping of all the above equipment.
D. Have skill to disassemble and reassemble machinery in accordance with specifications.
E. Should be capable of read & understand the engineering drawings and execute the work accordingly.
F. Have capability to direct several people working on different jobs in the area.
G. Be able to decide on the necessity to repair or replace parts.
H. Capable of group communications to direct and co-ordinate work.
3. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
A. Equivalent to HND, HNC or C & G (advanced ) in Mechanical Engineering.
B. Ten (10) years experience in the maintenance of stationery equipment as specified in 2 (c) with at least three (3) years in the foreman position.
C. Read, write and speak in English fluently.
D. Basic knowledge in use of computers and related software (MS-Office..etc).
E. Shall be well aware of basic refinery safety aspects and use of Personal Protective Equipment.
4. WORK CONTACTS
- Report to Supervisor, Mech. Maintenance.
- Liaise with other field Supervisors & Engineers.
- Liaise with Safety Operations, Other Contractors, and the like.

Pay: ₹105,006.10 - ₹109,006.10 per month
