Job Title: Marketing Head – Knitted Grey / Dyed Fabric – Export

Location: Tirupur

Age: Below 50 years

Reporting To: Business Head / Managing Director

Job Purpose:

To lead and expand export marketing operations for knitted grey and dyed fabrics by driving international business development, strengthening customer relationships, improving market penetration, and ensuring sustainable revenue and profitability growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Export Business Development:

Develop and execute export marketing strategies for knitted grey and dyed fabrics
Identify new international customers, sourcing agents, and business opportunities
Expand export business in key international markets, especially Sri Lanka market
Achieve sales growth and export revenue targets

2. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas buyers and key accounts
Handle customer inquiries, negotiations, and commercial discussions
Understand customer requirements and coordinate developments accordingly
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business

3. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:

Monitor international market trends, pricing, and competitor activities
Analyse customer demand and identify emerging business opportunities
Provide strategic inputs for product positioning and market expansion
Support development of market-oriented products and services

4. Product Development Coordination:

Coordinate with production, dyeing, quality, and merchandising teams
Ensure timely development and approval of customer samples and products
Support product innovation based on customer and market requirements
Ensure customer specifications and quality standards are consistently maintained

5. Pricing & Commercial Management:

Coordinate with costing and finance teams for product pricing strategies
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and commercial agreements with buyers
Ensure competitive pricing and profitability optimization
Monitor contribution margins and order-wise profitability

6. Order Execution & Coordination:

Ensure smooth execution of export orders and shipment schedules
Coordinate closely with production planning, logistics, and dispatch teams
Resolve customer concerns related to quality, delivery, and documentation
Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery commitments

7. Export Documentation & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with export procedures and customer requirements
Coordinate export documentation and shipping formalities
Support adherence to international quality and compliance standards
Maintain proper MIS and reporting for export business operations

8. Team Leadership & Coordination:

Lead and guide the export marketing team towards business objectives
Develop a customer-focused and performance-driven work culture
Ensure effective coordination between marketing and operational departments
Support team development and continuous performance improvement

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of knitted grey and dyed fabric export business
Expertise in international textile marketing and customer handling
Strong negotiation and commercial management skills
Good understanding of knitting, processing, and dyeing operations
Strong analytical and market assessment capabilities
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and export documentation processes

Experience Requirement:

10 - 15 years of experience in textile export marketing
Strong exposure in knitted grey and dyed fabric business
Experience in export marketing, especially Sri Lanka market preferred

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Growth in export sales revenue and customer base
Achievement of export business and profitability targets
Customer retention and satisfaction levels
Timely execution of export orders and shipments
Development of new international markets and customers
Improvement in contribution margins and order profitability

Qualifications Required

Any Bachelor’s Degree with core experience in textile marketing
MBA preferred
Strong exposure in knitted fabric export marketing and international business
