As a Scheduling and Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Prepare, update, and monitor project schedules using MS Project/Primavera or similar tools.
Develop detailed work programs, timelines, and milestones as per project requirements.
Track daily/weekly progress and compare with baseline schedules.
Identify delays, create recovery plans, and highlight critical path activities.
Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely execution.
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for management.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings, site measurements, and specifications.
Conduct quantity take-offs and rate analysis for all civil, finishing, MEP, and landscape works.
Verify contractor/subcontractor bills based on executed quantities.
Assist in tendering work: estimation, costing, and material requirement planning.
Maintain cost control by comparing budgeted vs. actual quantities.
Support procurement with material quantity confirmation and justification.
Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and site changes.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers for technical clarifications.
Prepare measurement sheets, variation statements, and deviation reports.
Assist in preparing work orders, contracts, and supporting documents.
Strong analytical and mathematical ability for accurate measurements.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and scheduling software (MSP/Primavera).
Good understanding of construction materials, methods, and sequence of activities.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of cost control and budgeting is an added advantage.
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / ITI in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the Construction sector, quantity surveying, preferably in villa, resort, or interior projects.
Software Skills: MS Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and familiarity with project management tools.
