Full job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mobile App Developer with hands-on experience in React Native and/or Flutter to design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable cross-platform mobile applications. This role will play a critical part in delivering seamless user experiences, optimizing application performance, and contributing to the full mobile development lifecycle—from concept through deployment and ongoing enhancement.

The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile technologies, stays current with emerging trends, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

How You Make a Difference: Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into high-quality, maintainable code
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to support application functionality
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver cohesive solutions
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across devices
Implement and manage push notifications, real-time updates, and cloud-based services (e.g., Firebase)
Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process, performance, and UX enhancements
Manage app deployment, updates, and versioning in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and frameworks in mobile development

What You’ll Need: Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Experience:

Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application development (level may vary based on role seniority)
Demonstrated experience building, testing, and deploying mobile applications to the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store
Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments preferred

Skills:

Proficiency in React Native and/or Flutter
Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or Dart
Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming
Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Provider, Bloc, etc.)
Experience with version control systems such as Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive design, and platform-specific guidelines
Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)
Experience with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore/Realtime DB, Cloud Messaging, Analytics)
Understanding of mobile security best practices and data protection
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):

Experience with native development (Swift, Kotlin, or Java)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment
Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile apps
Knowledge of performance monitoring and analytics tools
Exposure to accessibility standards and best practices
