About the Role
We are looking for a commercially sharp Performance Marketing Lead to take full ownership of Nustone’s paid acquisition function.
This role is not limited to Google Ads or conventional paid search. The successful candidate will manage and grow paid campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, retargeting platforms, programmatic advertising, relevant industry websites, and emerging AI advertising ecosystems.
A particularly important part of this role will be preparing Nustone for the next generation of paid advertising within AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, and other conversational or generative search environments as these advertising opportunities become available.
We are looking for someone who actively follows how paid discovery is evolving beyond conventional search engines and social platforms, and who can help Nustone become an early adopter of commercially relevant AI advertising opportunities.
This is a senior hands-on individual contributor role. It is not a people-management role at this stage. The successful candidate will personally own strategy, campaign setup, execution, optimisation, testing, reporting, and commercial performance.
The role reports directly to the Head of Marketing & Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute Nustone’s paid media strategy across all relevant acquisition channels
- Grow paid revenue profitably while maintaining strong ROAS
- Manage Google Ads, Shopping, Performance Max, Search, Display, YouTube, and remarketing campaigns
- Manage paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms
- Identify and test paid opportunities on industry websites, trade platforms, publisher networks, and specialist digital channels
- Monitor and prepare for emerging advertising opportunities within ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, and other AI-led discovery platforms
- Research how targeting, sponsored recommendations, product feeds, conversational advertising, attribution, and conversion tracking may work across AI advertising ecosystems
- Build an AI advertising readiness plan for Nustone so the business can move quickly when relevant platforms become available
- Work closely with the Organic Growth Lead to understand the relationship between organic AI visibility, AI referral traffic, and paid placements within AI platforms
- Analyse performance by channel, campaign, product category, audience, geographic area, device, and funnel stage
- Build campaigns around buying intent, customer behaviour, seasonality, pricing, stock availability, and product demand
- Manage product feeds and improve performance across Google Merchant Center and other feed-led advertising platforms
- Develop strong retargeting strategies for product viewers, returning visitors, high-intent users, and cart abandoners
- Allocate budgets based on revenue potential, profitability, stock position, and channel performance
- Test ad copy, visuals, audiences, offers, bidding strategies, landing pages, campaign structures, and new channels
- Work with the wider marketing team on campaign messaging, creative requirements, promotions, landing pages, and customer journeys
- Ensure accurate tracking through GA4, Google Tag Manager, advertising platforms, and internal reporting systems
- Use modern AI tools to improve research, campaign planning, audience analysis, ad copy, creative ideation, testing, reporting, and optimisation
- Provide clear reporting focused on commercial performance rather than vanity metrics
AI Advertising and Emerging Channels
AI advertising will be an important future growth area for Nustone.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Closely follow the development of advertising within ChatGPT and other generative AI platforms
- Understand how sponsored recommendations may appear within conversational search journeys
- Explore how ecommerce product feeds may support paid product discovery within AI assistants
- Assess future advertising opportunities across Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, and other AI-led platforms
- Research measurement, targeting, attribution, creative formats, and commercial use cases for AI advertising
- Recommend when and how Nustone should begin testing these channels
- Help the business enter relevant AI advertising platforms early, rather than waiting until they become overcrowded
- Clearly separate paid AI advertising performance from organic AI visibility and referral traffic
- Translate emerging AI advertising developments into practical commercial opportunities for Nustone
Candidates are not expected to have managed large live budgets on platforms that are not yet widely available. However, they must show strong curiosity, current knowledge, independent research, and the ability to quickly understand and test new advertising ecosystems.

We are not looking for someone who simply spends budgets or reports clicks and impressions. Paid traffic only matters when it produces commercially valuable conversions and revenue.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven hands-on experience in performance marketing or paid media
- Strong ecommerce performance marketing experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads, Shopping, Performance Max, Search, YouTube, and remarketing
- Strong experience managing paid campaigns across Meta
- Experience with TikTok, Pinterest, programmatic advertising, publisher placements, or other relevant paid channels
- Proven ability to manage budgets, improve ROAS, reduce acquisition costs, and grow revenue
- Strong understanding of product feeds, Google Merchant Center, ecommerce tracking, and campaign attribution
- Strong knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and campaign reporting
- Ability to analyse performance by product, category, audience, channel, geographic area, and customer journey stage
- Strong understanding of buying intent, retargeting, seasonality, stock availability, and ecommerce customer behaviour
- Ability to identify and evaluate new paid acquisition opportunities
- Active interest in ChatGPT advertising, generative AI advertising, conversational commerce, and emerging AI-led acquisition channels
- Strong testing mindset across creative, targeting, offers, landing pages, bidding, and campaign structure
- Highly comfortable using the latest AI tools in daily work
- Candidates must be prepared to list the AI tools they actively use and explain how those tools improve their research, execution, optimisation, and decision-making
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the paid growth channel
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing paid campaigns for high-ticket ecommerce or retail businesses
- Experience with UK, US, or other international advertising markets
- Experience advertising home improvement, outdoor living, furniture, landscaping, building materials, or related products
- Experience managing product feed-led campaigns
- Experience testing channels beyond Google and Meta
- Experience using performance data to guide creative production and landing-page improvements
- Familiarity with conversational commerce, AI product discovery, sponsored AI recommendations, or emerging generative advertising formats
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, analytical, curious, highly hands-on, and comfortable being accountable for revenue.
We are not looking for a conventional PPC operator who only manages existing campaigns mechanically.
We are looking for someone who can own paid growth as a commercial channel, make intelligent budget decisions, identify new opportunities before competitors do, and prepare Nustone for the next generation of advertising across both traditional and AI-led platforms.
CTC will be decided basing upon your performance in the interview & upon your last drawn CTC as well.
Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
