Job Description
What you’ll do
Configure Guidewire ClaimCenter (entities, workflows, rules, UI, product model) using recommended implementation patterns and out‑of‑the‑box capabilities wherever possible.
Participate in requirement and design discussions with internal stakeholders (architects, BAs, developers, QA) to translate business and functional needs into ClaimCenter configuration and integration designs.
Implement and support integrations between ClaimCenter and external/enterprise systems (policy, billing, document management, payments, third‑party services) using web services, REST APIs, messaging, and batch processes.
Contribute to data migration activities including data mapping, transformation rules, migration scripts, test data preparation, and reconciliation/validation of migrated data.
Develop and maintain functional and technical design documents, configuration workbooks, interface specifications, and deployment checklists to support repeatable delivery.
Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT): clarify expected behavior, analyze defects, provide configuration fixes, and ensure quality prior to go‑live.
Work within an Agile/Scrum delivery model, contributing to estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos for your assigned workstreams.
Collaborate with global PS colleagues to best practices, templates, and accelerators that improve quality and reduce implementation effort over time.
Actively use Guidewire tools, automation, and responsible AI capabilities to increase your productivity and improve the quality and consistency of project outcomes.
What you’ll bring
3–5 years of overall IT experience, including hands‑on experience implementing or enhancing core insurance systems for P&C insurers.
Practical experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter (cloud or on‑premise) on at least one implementation or major enhancement, ideally in a configuration or integration-focused role.
Solid understanding of P&C claims lifecycle and processes (FNOL, coverage verification, reserving, litigation, recoveries, subrogation, and closure).
Experience with ClaimCenter configuration concepts such as data model, workflows, rules, exposure and claim segments, and user roles/permissions.
Familiarity with common integration patterns and technologies (REST/SOAP web services, messaging, batch, file-based interfaces) used in enterprise environments.
Exposure to data migration activities (source‑to‑target mapping, data cleansing, test data setup, validation) for core system replacement or cloud transformation programs.
Comfort working in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating across global, cross‑functional stakeholders in a Professional Services or consulting context.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements into clear, testable configuration and integration tasks.
Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and data‑driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement in your current role.
Very good verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Guidewire certification in ClaimCenter (e.g., ClaimCenter Specialist or Ace – ClaimCenter Configuration/Integration).
Experience with other Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ContactManager) or related integrations.
Experience with cloud‑based implementations or modernization programs in P&C insurance, ideally in a SaaS or multi‑tenant context.
Prior experience working in a global Professional Services, consulting, or system integrator environment.
