UI/UX Design Intern (Remote)

Internship Duration: 3 Months
Stipend: ₹2,000 – ₹5,000 per month
Start Date: Immediate

About Go Mobility

Go Mobility is building a driver-first mobility platform designed to create a fair and transparent ecosystem for drivers and riders. Our mission is to leverage technology to transform urban mobility through innovative digital experiences and user-centric products. As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will contribute directly to products used by real customers while working alongside experienced developers and product teams.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and passionate UI/UX Design Intern who wants to gain hands-on experience in designing digital products. You will collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and leadership to create intuitive and visually engaging user experiences for our web and mobile platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for students, fresh graduates, and aspiring product designers who want real-world exposure in a fast-growing technology startup.

Key Responsibilities

Understand user requirements and business goals.
Create user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and information architecture.
Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma.
Conduct competitor analysis and UX research.
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
Build and maintain design systems and reusable components.
Present design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
Identify usability issues and propose design improvements.
Ensure responsive and mobile-first design experiences.
Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and industry best practices.

Required SkillsMust Have

Good understanding of UI/UX Design Principles.
Knowledge of Wireframing and Prototyping.
Familiarity with User Research and Customer Journey Mapping.
Understanding of Mobile and Responsive Design.
Strong visual design skills including typography, color theory, spacing, and hierarchy.
Proficiency in Figma.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Own laptop and stable internet connection.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Miro.
Knowledge of Design Systems.
Familiarity with Webflow.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
Graphic Design, Branding, Motion Design, or Photography skills are a plus.
Knowledge of Shopify is an added advantage.
