Job Description:
We are looking for a Web Development Intern with a keen interest in WordPress and Shopify development. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on real-world web projects, supporting our design and marketing teams, and enhancing user experiences through functional and visually engaging websites.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify.
- Customize themes and templates to match brand guidelines and campaign requirements.
- Collaborate with design and digital marketing teams to implement UI/UX best practices and ensure SEO-friendly structures.
- Support performance testing, bug fixing, and site optimization tasks.
- Integrate third-party tools such as tracking pixels, forms, payment gateways, and APIs.
- Regularly update website content, product listings, banners, and plugins/extensions.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness for all web pages.
- Assist in technical SEO tasks, website audits, and setting up tracking tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Stay updated with web development trends and e-commerce technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify.
- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for web development and digital innovation.
