Job Title: Senior Technical CNC AND CAD / CAM TRAINER

Job Summary :
The Senior Technical CNC & CAD/CAM Trainer is responsible for delivering advanced training in CNC machining and CAD/CAM software applications. The role includes curriculum design, hands-on machine training, programming instruction, simulation-based learning, and preparing trainees for industry-ready manufacturing roles. The trainer will also mentor junior instructors and ensure alignment with current manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities1. CNC Training Delivery :
- Conduct training on CNC turning and CNC milling operations.
- Teach G-code and M-code programming fundamentals.
- Explain tool selection, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
- Train students on machine setup, zero setting, and work offsets.
- Demonstrate safety standards and shop-floor best practices.
2. CAD/CAM Software Training :
- Deliver structured training in:
- AutoCAD (2D drafting basics)
- Mastercam
- SolidWorks
- Teach part modeling, toolpath generation, post-processing, and simulation.
- Explain CNC program verification and optimization techniques.
3. Advanced Manufacturing Concepts :
- Cover GD&T standards and interpretation.
- Introduce fixture design and tooling concepts.
- Explain process planning and production workflow.
- Train on quality control basics and measurement tools (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM overview).
4. Practical & Industry Projects :
- Conduct live machining demonstrations.
- Guide trainees in real-time industry-based machining projects.
- Support project documentation and portfolio development.
- Coordinate industrial visits and practical exposure (if applicable).
5. Curriculum & Team Leadership :
- Develop advanced-level lesson plans and training modules.
- Update course content based on latest CNC technologies.
- Mentor junior trainers and oversee lab management.
- Ensure maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
6. Assessment & Career Support :
- Conduct technical assessments and practical evaluations.
- Provide structured feedback and improvement plans.
- Prepare trainees for interviews in manufacturing industries.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming.
- Hands-on experience with industrial CNC machines.
- Prior training experience preferred.
Required Skills :
- Strong CNC programming knowledge (Fanuc/Siemens controls preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and machining simulation tools.
- Deep understanding of machining processes and tooling.
- Leadership and mentoring capability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Certifications :
- CNC Programming Certification
- Autodesk / CAD Certification
