Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily production operations at Parasmani Engineering's metal fabrication facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, ensuring strict adherence to production schedules and quality standards for diverse metal products.
- Implement, monitor, and optimize manufacturing processes, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and waste minimization within a dynamic industrial environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of production technicians and operators, fostering a strong culture of safety, quality craftsmanship, and continuous improvement across the production floor.
- Conduct rigorous quality control checks on raw materials, in-process components, and finished metal goods, ensuring full compliance with engineering specifications and customer expectations.
- Collaborate proactively with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure optimal performance, preventive maintenance, and quick resolution of equipment issues for continuous production flow.
- Prepare comprehensive production reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and present actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-making and process enhancement.
- Drive initiatives for process innovation and contribute to the development of new manufacturing techniques, strengthening Parasmani Engineering's position in the competitive metal industry.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience required.
- Proven track record in a production leadership or executive role within the metal manufacturing, heavy engineering, or a similar industrial operations sector.
- Deep understanding of industrial machinery, metal fabrication processes (e.g., cutting, bending, welding, finishing), and safety protocols prevalent in the manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in implementing quality management systems (e.g., ISO, Lean Manufacturing principles) and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems suitable for a company of Parasmani Engineering's size.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively and drive operational excellence.
