The developer should have strong hands-on experience in WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, custom code snippets, child themes, plugin customization, and theme-level debugging. Experience with Woodmart theme, WPML multilingual setup, product translations, checkout customizations, Stripe/Apple Pay issues, WooCommerce hooks, and server-level troubleshooting will be highly preferred.
The developer must be able to handle complex eCommerce tasks independently, such as fixing checkout bugs, working with custom postcode/delivery logic, resolving multilingual product issues, optimizing search, debugging plugin conflicts, checking error logs, and safely applying fixes without breaking the live website.
Basic knowledge of hosting, cPanel/aaPanel, Nginx, PHP-FPM, database queries, and Git/backups is important. The developer should also be comfortable communicating in English because some tasks may involve international clients or third-party support teams.
We need someone reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented who can understand the business impact of issues and work with ownership, not just wait for step-by-step instructions.
