We are currently seeking a Z3_BE Developer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Node.js. Will work closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to build secure, high‑performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js.
- Build RESTful or GraphQL APIs with proper authentication and security.
- Design and manage databases (SQL or NoSQL) ensuring efficiency and reliability.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Integrate third‑party services, APIs, and internal tools.
- Implement secure coding practices, error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, Passport.js).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Knowledge of serverless architecture.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and practices.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Supertest).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6-8 years of experience in backend development with Node.js (adjust as needed).
Soft Skills
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in an agile, fast‑paced environment.
Optional Add‑ons (based on company needs)
- Experience in fintech, e‑commerce, SaaS, or enterprise-grade systems.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and high‑scale distributed systems.
