Azure DevOps Engineer / Administrator

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer / Administrator to design, implement,
and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
The ideal candidate will drive efficient software delivery while ensuring scalability, reliability,
and security using Azure DevOps and Azure cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps & CI/CD Implementation
* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
* Automate build, test, and deployment workflows
* Manage release pipelines across Dev, QA, and Production environments
* Integrate Git repositories with automated deployment processes
Azure DevOps Administration
* Administer Azure DevOps organizations, projects, and repositories
* Manage:
* User access and permissions (RBAC)
* Service connections and self-hosted agents
* Repositories, branch policies, and governance
* Implement branching strategies such as GitFlow and Trunk-Based Development
Infrastructure & Automation
* Automate infrastructure provisioning using:
* Terraform
* ARM Templates
* Bicep
* Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
* Manage and support Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure
Monitoring & Performance Optimization
* Monitor pipelines, deployments, and infrastructure health
* Troubleshoot build, release, and deployment issues
* Optimize CI/CD performance and reliability
Security & Compliance
* Implement DevSecOps best practices
* Securely manage secrets using Azure Key Vault
* Enforce governance, compliance, and audit requirements
Collaboration & Support
* Collaborate with Development, QA, Cloud, and Data Engineering teams
* Provide DevOps guidance and best practices
* Create technical documentation and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions
Required Skills
Technical Expertise
* Strong experience with Azure DevOps:
* Pipelines (YAML & Classic)
* Repos & Git
* Boards & Artifacts
* Proficiency in scripting:
* PowerShell
* Bash
* Python
* Hands-on experience with:
* Terraform / ARM / Bicep
* Azure Services (AKS, App Services, VMs, Storage Accounts, etc.)
DevOps Toolchain
* Git Version Control
* Maven, Gradle, or similar build tools
* Docker
* Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
* Azure Monitor & Log Analytics
Administration & Governance
* Azure DevOps security and access management
* Pipeline governance and compliance
* Environment and release management
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
* 8–10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles

* Secure and governed Azure DevOps environment
