About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on EDP / ERP & IT Incharge to support the setup and operation of our upcoming manufacturing facility in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ERP support, MIS reporting, data management, IT infrastructure, and digital process implementation across plant operations.
This role requires close coordination with management, production teams, data entry operators, software vendors, and IT service providers to build a structured, technology-driven manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ERP implementation and day-to-day operations across Production, Stores, Purchase, Sales, Dispatch, Quality, Accounts, and Administration.
- Coordinate with ERP/software vendors for implementation, testing, troubleshooting, report development, and user support.
- Maintain and manage master data including item masters, customer/vendor records, machine data, process parameters, and user access controls.
- Supervise and train Data Entry Operators (DEOs) to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
- Monitor production, inventory, dispatch, purchase, and quality data for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for management.
- Develop and maintain dashboards related to production performance, inventory, efficiency, wastage, dispatches, machine utilization, and pending orders.
- Manage IT infrastructure including computers, printers, scanners, networking, internet connectivity, CCTV systems, and barcode solutions.
- Coordinate with hardware, networking, CCTV, and software service providers.
- Ensure data backup, system security, user access management, and IT asset tracking.
- Drive digitization initiatives and help reduce manual paperwork through system-based workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in EDP, ERP Support, MIS Reporting, IT Administration, or Manufacturing Software Systems.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, MIS reporting, hardware, networking, printers, and scanners.
- Ability to train plant users and support teams with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working on the shop floor and interacting with production teams.
Preferred Skills
- ERP implementation or ERP support experience.
- Knowledge of barcode systems, inventory tracking, production data entry, and dispatch management.
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows and business processes.
- Experience with Excel dashboards, Power BI, or reporting tools.
- Exposure to industries such as FIBC, Woven Sacks, Packaging, Technical Textiles, Plastics, Extrusion, Weaving, Printing, or Stitching will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
