QA Automation Engineer (Java + Selenium + Appium)

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Java-based automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Selenium and Appium, along with exposure to API Automation, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, test planning, and quality assurance practices. The candidate should follow an SDET approach and be flexible to perform functional/manual testing when required.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Appium
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Perform API Automation testing and validate service integrations
- Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects and work closely with development teams for closure
- Ensure end-to-end test coverage for critical business workflows
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and support automated execution
- Perform functional/manual testing as part of the SDET model whenever required
- Strong hands-on experience in Java
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with Appium for mobile automation
- Exposure to API Automation (REST API testing)
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and test design principles
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Understanding of defect management and QA lifecycle
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and automation execution pipelines
- Strong analytical and communication skills
