About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester Trainee to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates who are passionate about software quality assurance and eager to build a career in software testing.
The trainee will work closely with developers and project teams to ensure that software applications meet quality standards and deliver an excellent user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and understand software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers.
- Ensure applications function correctly across different devices and browsers.
- Participate in requirement analysis and product discussions.
- Maintain proper documentation of testing activities.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Familiarity with web and mobile applications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is an advantage.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools is a plus.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, MCA, B.Tech, BSc Computer Science, or related fields.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
