Job Description – Storekeeper

Location: Bhandup, Mumbai
Position: Storekeeper / Store Assistant

Job Summary

Valter Technologies LLP is looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of industrial products and materials. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring smooth coordination between the store, purchase, sales, and accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities

Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, condition, and documents against Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.
Inspect and organize materials in the designated storage locations.
Maintain proper records of Goods Receipt, Stock Inward, Stock Outward, and Material Dispatch.
Issue materials against authorized requests, delivery challans, or dispatch instructions.
Prepare materials for dispatch, including packing, labeling, and coordination with transporters/courier services.
Maintain accurate stock records in Excel, ERP, or other inventory management systems.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and report shortages, excess stock, or damaged materials.
Maintain proper identification and labeling of all products and materials.
Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well organized.
Coordinate with the Purchase, Sales, Accounts, and Operations teams regarding material availability and dispatch schedules.
Maintain records of invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, packing lists, and other relevant documents.
Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the concerned department when replenishment is required.
Handle returns, damaged goods, and discrepancies appropriately.
Ensure proper handling and storage of industrial instruments and equipment to prevent damage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate / Diploma / ITI or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Store Assistant, Warehouse Assistant, or Inventory Executive will be preferred.
Basic knowledge of inventory and store management.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and computer operations.
Ability to maintain stock records accurately.
Good organizational and documentation skills.
Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
Ability to handle physical stock and coordinate with transporters and internal departments.

Preferred Experience

Experience: fresher or 1–5 years
Experience in handling industrial products, instrumentation items, electrical items, automation products, or engineering materials will be an added advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Accuracy of inventory records.
Timely receipt and dispatch of materials.
Proper documentation of inward and outward stock.
Reduction in stock discrepancies and material damage.
Proper organization and maintenance of the store.
