Full job description

Job Title: Junior QC/ QA Engineer - Real Estate

Location: Coimbatore (On-site)

Work Schedule: 6 days/week

Job Type: Full-Time

No. of Position: 1

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Monitoring & Control:

Oversee and monitor the quality of civil construction activities at various project stages.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all works adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Identify non-conformities, assess causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

2. Material Testing & Verification:

Verify incoming construction materials for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Coordinate and witness laboratory and field testing for concrete, steel, and other construction materials.
Maintain proper documentation for all material approvals and test reports.

3. Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain all quality control documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, NCRs, and QA/QC records.
Ensure traceability and proper filing of test results, calibration certificates, and site quality logs.
Submit periodic quality performance reports to management and consultants.

4. Process Implementation:

Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and inspection plans for site activities.
Monitor the implementation of method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and work procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality standards and site performance.

5. Coordination & Compliance:

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure quality requirements are met.
Liaise with consultants and clients during inspections and audits.
Ensure that all construction activities comply with ISO standards and project quality policies.

6. Training & Supervision:

Guide and support site teams on quality awareness and inspection procedures.
Conduct internal quality training and tool-box sessions to promote a culture of quality across all levels.

Experience & Qualification:

4 to 5 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in construction projects.
BE Civil / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Strong understanding of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality systems.
Hands-on experience with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, and audit compliance.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
Experience in Real Estate / Residential / Commercial Projects preferred (not mandatory).
