Role Overview
As a PHP Developer at Patoliya Infotech, you will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side web applications and dynamic websites. You will work with an experienced team of developers on live client projects across industries like e-commerce, real estate, and healthcare. This role is a great entry point for freshers who want to build a strong career in back-end web development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain server-side web applications and dynamic websites using PHP
- Write efficient and optimized MySQL database queries - SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, JOINs
- Design and manage relational database structures - tables, relationships, indexes
- Build and consume REST APIs to communicate between front-end and back-end systems
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate HTML/CSS/JavaScript interfaces with PHP back-end
- Work with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter for building structured and scalable applications
- Implement user authentication, session management, and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, PayPal), and SMS/email services
- Perform testing, debugging, and bug fixing to ensure applications are stable and error-free
- Maintain and update existing client websites and applications as per change requests
Follow coding standards and participate in peer code review sessions

Required Technical Skills
- Core PHP knowledge - including OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts like classes, objects, inheritance
- Strong understanding of MySQL - database design, queries, stored procedures, and optimization basics
- Good working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript
- Ability to understand and work with MVC architecture (Model-View-Controller)
- Familiarity with PHP frameworks - Laravel (preferred) or CodeIgniter
- Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
Understanding of how sessions, cookies, and user authentication work in PHP

Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics
- OR BCA / MCA / M.Sc. Computer Science
- OR Diploma in Computer Engineering with hands-on PHP/MySQL project experience
Candidates who have completed PHP development courses with practical projects are also welcome

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Hands-on experience with Laravel framework - routing, eloquent ORM, migrations, blade templates
- Basic knowledge of WordPress theme or plugin customization
- Experience working on e-commerce websites using WooCommerce or custom PHP carts
- Familiarity with cPanel, Linux hosting environments, and FTP file management
- Understanding of basic security practices - SQL injection prevention, XSS protection, CSRF tokens
- Exposure to front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or jQuery
