Production Engineer

Job Description :

Plan and manage production schedules and manpower allocation to ensure timely and efficient operations
Co-ordination for ISO / CE certification
Co-ordination with Cross functional teams - design / planning / stores for smooth workflow integration
Oversee and coordinate daily factory operations
Assist in new product development initiatives
Prepare and maintain product documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and shop floor inventory management
Possess hands-on experience and working knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles

Job Description :

Develop new products based on customer or market requirements, from concept to completion
Responsible for comprehensive documentation of newly developed products, including: Conceptual designs and G.A. drawings, Assembly drawings, SOPs, and user manuals, Technical data sheets, detailed BOMs and installation manuals

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2018 and other Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Conduct in-process inspections by verifying components as per the Bill of Materials used in manufacturing; prepare checklists in line with QMS guidelines
Monitor and track the incoming defect rate at sites for finished goods dispatched from the factory
Maintain and manage quality documentation, including ISO-related records; actively participate in ISO audits
Prepare SOPs, ready reckoners, and regularly review documentation in the QC department
Capture and document non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT) for effective resolution
Actively participate in Toolbox talks, A3 reports, and 8D analysis for continuous improvement
