Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will transform interview and platform data into actionable insights that drive product development, business strategy, and customer success outcomes.
You will collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data from multiple sources to support reporting, hiring metrics, product analytics, and operational decision-making. You will work closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs), design experiments, measure feature impact, and ensure data quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal and customer-facing stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on candidate performance metrics, hiring funnel efficiency, and platform usage trends.
- Define and track KPIs to support product and business objectives.
- Design and analyze experiments, including A/B tests and feature impact assessments.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain data models and reporting structures that support scalable analytics.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and analytical processes.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data analysis and insight generation from large datasets.
- Practical understanding of statistics, including hypothesis testing, experiment design, and performance measurement.
- Experience with data modeling and designing reporting-friendly data structures.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one BI/analytics platform such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase.
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with product analytics, including funnels, cohort analysis, retention metrics, and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with hiring, recruitment, HR technology, or workforce analytics data.
- Experience working with SaaS product metrics and user behavior analysis.
