Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer Intern to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for interior design, a good understanding of design principles, and familiarity with modern AI-powered tools used in interior design and visualization.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating interior design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
Develop 2D drawings, layouts, and space-planning solutions.
Create 3D models, renders, and visualizations for residential and commercial projects.
Utilize AI-powered design tools for concept generation, visualization, rendering, and workflow optimization.
Support the team in material selection, furniture sourcing, and design documentation.
Conduct research on design trends, materials, finishes, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers throughout the design process.
Participate in site visits and assist with project coordination when required.

Requirements

Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, materials, and color theory.
Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, V-Ray, or similar tools.
Working knowledge of AI tools used in interior design, such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, Veras, Planner 5D AI, or similar platforms.
Strong visualization and presentation skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Architecture is highly preferred.
Experience with BIM software and architectural drawings is a plus.
Portfolio showcasing academic or personal design projects.
