About Futuready:
Futuready is a Mumbai-based full-service creative digital agency with a presence in Bengaluru. Established in 2012 by IIM alumni, Futuready offers services in Strategy, Branding, Content, Design, Marketing, and Technology.

Role:
This is a full-time on-site role for an SEO Specialist at Futuready in Mumbai. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for improving organic traffic, search engine rankings, and website performance by implementing effective SEO strategies.

Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development

Develop and implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies aligned with client goals.
Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in keyword targeting and content strategy.
Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithms and trends to adjust strategies accordingly.

Keyword Research & Optimization

Perform keyword research using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner.
Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs for targeted keywords.
Identify long-tail keyword opportunities and incorporate them into content strategies.

Content Optimization

Collaborate with content writers to ensure high-quality, SEO-friendly content creation.
Review and improve existing content for better rankings and engagement.
Optimize content for featured snippets, schema markup, and voice search.

On-Page SEO

Ensure proper internal linking structure, keyword density, and content hierarchy.
Audit website for SEO errors like broken links, duplicate content, or missing metadata.
Optimize images, videos, and other media for search engines.

Off-Page SEO

Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building strategies.
Identify and leverage opportunities for guest posting, outreach, and influencer collaboration.
Monitor and improve domain authority through partnerships and PR campaigns.

Technical SEO

Perform site audits to identify technical issues like crawl errors, slow page speed, or poor mobile usability.
Ensure proper implementation of schema markup, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt.
Collaborate with developers to resolve website performance and structural issues.

Analytics & Reporting

Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics like organic traffic, rankings, and conversion rates.
Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Data Studio to provide actionable insights.
Generate monthly performance reports for internal and client review.

Local SEO

Optimize Google My Business listings and manage local citations for regional campaigns.
Monitor and respond to online reviews to build trust and credibility.
Create and optimize location-based landing pages for target regions.

Continuous Learning

Stay updated on SEO best practices, algorithm changes, and industry trends.
Test and implement new strategies for better performance and ROI.
Attend workshops, webinars, or certification programs to sharpen technical skills.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related fields.
2-5 years of experience in SEO, with proven results in increasing organic traffic and rankings.
Proficiency in SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for SEO purposes.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.
Familiarity with HubSpot, Marketo, or similar marketing tools.
Certifications in Google Analytics, SEO, or related domains are a plus.
