Job Description

Requirements:

Total Experience: 5.5+ Years
5-8 years of experience as a System Analyst / Business Systems Analyst in banking or financial services programs.
Experience in downstream/accounting/reporting domains (GL interfaces, reconciliation, regulatory reporting) strongly preferred.
Must have Hands-on experience with Deposits Management Systems like Finacle.
Must have end to end project experience from requirements through testing and deployment across at least 2 implementations.
Delivery coordination and disciplined tracking of plans, actions, and dependencies.
Should have clear written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical progress into concise status updates.
Should have strong documentation skills and attention to detail; able to maintain accurate logs and artifacts.
Should be comfortable working with Excel and MS Visio
Should be able to do stakeholder management and follow-through across bank and vendor teams.
Should have problem-solving mindset with ability to surface options and impacts.
Should be ready to relocate to Philippines for long term.

Responsibility:

Gather and define functional requirements for downstream systems (accounting, GL/sub-ledger interfaces, reporting feeds, MIS/regulatory extracts, and reconciliation).
Identify gaps/ambiguities in requirements and drive closure with business owners (Finance, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Ops).
Define end-to-end flows for key deposit events and ensure downstream impacts are covered (account opening, maintenance, interest accrual/posting, fees/charges, reversals, closures, adjustments).
Produce/maintain functional specs and interface-related artifacts (data mapping requirements, field definitions, validation rules, frequency/cut-off times, error handling expectations).
Support SIT/UAT execution, defect triage, and retest coordination specific to downstream feeds and reporting outputs; ensure traceability from requirements to tests.
Define and validate reconciliation controls (control totals, balancing rules, GL tie-outs where applicable, exception processes) and support sign-off packs/evidence.
Coordinate cutover and post-go-live stabilization activities for downstream flows (day-1 postings, first interest runs, EOD/EOM processing, reporting cycles).
Maintain RAID, decisions, and dependency tracking for downstream scope; provide regular status updates to Integration governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
