Draftsman – *Fire Protection & Fire Alarm Systems* *Job Description* Position Title Fire Protection & Fire Alarm Draftsman Department Engineering / Design Reporting To Design Engineer / Design Manager / Project Manager *Job Summary* Responsible for preparation, coordination, modification, and documentation of detailed shop drawings, coordinated layouts, schematic drawings, and as-built drawings for fire protection and fire alarm systems in compliance with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and site requirements. *Key Responsibilities* Fire Protection System Drafting Prepare detailed shop drawings for: Fire hydrant systems Automatic sprinkler systems Deluge and foam systems Water mist systems Clean agent/gas suppression systems Fire pump room layouts *Prepare:* Piping layouts Riser diagrams Isometric drawings Sectional details Equipment installation details Coordination drawings Fire Alarm System Drafting Prepare detailed drawings for: Addressable fire alarm systems Conventional fire alarm systems Public address & voice evacuation systems Emergency communication systems *Prepare:* Detector layouts Cable routing drawings Loop drawings SLDs Control schematics Cause & effect matrix drawings Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with architectural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural services for clash-free routing and coordinated layouts. Incorporate consultant/client comments and site revisions into drawings. Prepare as-built drawings based on executed site conditions. Maintain drawing revisions, submission records, and document control. Quantity & Technical Support Assist in quantity take-off and BOQ preparation from approved drawings. Support engineering and execution teams during project execution. Verify drawing feasibility based on site conditions. Skills & Technical Requirements *Proficiency in:* AutoCAD MS Office Revit/BIM (preferred) *Knowledge of:* Fire protection system layouts Fire alarm system drafting Pipe routing and coordination Equipment installation requirements Familiarity with: NBC 2016 Part 4 NFPA standards TAC/ IS standards guidelines Local fire authority requirements *Qualification* ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline. *Experience* 2–5 years of experience in drafting of fire protection and fire alarm systems. *Preferred Requirements* Experience in commercial, industrial, high-rise, or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash detection. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet submission deadlines. *Key Attributes* Good communication and coordination skills Attention to detail Time management Problem-solving approach Ability to work under project deadline

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
