Mandatory Requirement: Personal Laptop with a good internet connection is a must! Job PurposeWe are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented, and analytical QA Engineer Intern to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing our software applications (including our core product, Accent) to find bugs, ensure flawless user experience, and maintain the highest standards of software quality before any release.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual Testing: Perform thorough end-to-end testing of web applications to identify functional bugs, logical errors, and UI layout issues.
- Test Case Creation: Write, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on product requirements.
- Bug Reporting: Document and log defects clearly with exact steps to reproduce, screenshots, and system logs using tracking tools (like Jira, Trello, or Google Sheets).
- Regression Testing: Re-test fixed bugs shared by the development team to ensure the existing features are working perfectly.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Frontend (React.js) developers to help them understand defects and verify hotfixes.
Skills & Qualifications Needed
- Core Concepts: Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Bug Life Cycle, and fundamental QA methodologies.
- Analytical Mindset: An exceptional eye for detail with a natural knack for finding hidden edge cases and breaking software.
- Technical Familiarity: Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS) and browser developer tools (Inspect Element) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills to document bugs clearly.
- Education: Pursuing or recently completed graduation in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical QA training.
