About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of both data and applications across our technology ecosystem. This role will focus heavily on SQL-based data validation and Salesforce application testing, working closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trusted solutions.
You’ll be hands-on in validating data pipelines, reports, integrations, and Salesforce functionality, making sure what we build works as expected and the data behind it is correct.
Key Responsibilities
Data Quality & SQL QA
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across databases and reporting layers using SQL
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to test data transformations, ETL processes, and business rules
- Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation
- Identify data anomalies, trends, and root causes of defects
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to resolve data quality issues
Application & Salesforce QA
- Test Salesforce configurations including objects, fields, flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards
- Validate Salesforce integrations with external systems and data sources
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing for Salesforce and related applications
- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements
- Log, track, and retest defects through resolution
General QA & Collaboration
- Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability and data integrity
- Support UAT activities and collaborate with business users
- Contribute to QA best practices, standards, and documentation
- Work within Agile/Scrum development processes
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in QA Engineering, Data QA, or similar role
- Strong T-SQL skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (writing complex queries, joins, subqueries)
- Experience testing Salesforce applications
- Solid understanding of data validation concepts and application testing methodologies
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or similar)
- Experience testing data integrations, APIs, or ETL pipelines
- Familiarity with data warehouses and reporting tools
- Experience with automated testing tools (for Salesforce or data validation)
- Background working in Agile environments
Pay: â‚ą60,000.00 - â‚ą75,000.00 per month
