The Role
You will be the second engineer on the team, working under our Tech Lead on a product that is already live with enterprise healthtech clients. The foundation is built. Your job is to build on top of it: new features, better systems, more scale.
There is proper working structure here: ticketing, code reviews, deployment processes. What is different is the level of ownership. You will understand the product deeply, make decisions on how features should work, and build things with a real chance of becoming the standard for how this industry operates.
AI tools are encouraged. Use them to move faster. The bar we hold is simple: understand every line of code that goes into the codebase, know how it impacts existing systems, and be able to explain every decision. Strong logical thinking paired with reliable use of AI is what makes a great engineer here.
Mandatory Requirements
- 6 months (Internship) - 3 Years experience strictly in MERN Stack, no exceptions
- Strong hands-on project experience you can walk us through, line by line
- Strong communication skills, you will work closely with the Tech Lead and cross-functional team
- Immediate joiner or available within 15 days
- Open to full-time, in-person work from Indore
Technical Skills
Core Stack - MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js
Real-time - Basic knowledge of WebSockets
Infrastructure - Exposure to Docker and AWS
APIs - REST API design and integration, understanding of scalable architecture
Who We Are Looking For
Beyond the technical bar, what separates a good hire from a great one at Zoronal:
- Strong logical thinker: You reason through problems before reaching for a solution. You can trace a bug through an unfamiliar codebase and explain exactly what went wrong.
- Uses AI with understanding: You use AI tools to move faster and you understand every line before it touches the codebase. You know how a change ripples through existing code and flow.
- Ownership mindset: You think like a product owner, not a ticket executor. You care about whether the feature works well, not just whether it was built.
- Hunger to grow: You want to take on more responsibility, learn fast, and build things that matter.
- Clean code habits: You write code like someone else has to read and extend it tomorrow. Because they will.
- Communicates clearly: You can explain a technical decision to a non-engineer. You ask questions before going down the wrong path.
What You Will Find
- A Tech Lead who will push you and invest in your growth
- A live product with real enterprise clients, your code matters from day one
- Full ownership and decision-making on the features you build
- The chance to think like an owner and build features that could set new industry standards
- A lean team where your contribution is visible and your growth is fast
