Job Description – UI/UX Design Intern

Company: Shrestha Cloud Solutions
Position: UI/UX Design Intern
Department: Design / Product Development
Duration: 6 Months
Location: HSR Layout
Stipend: As per company policy

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve user experience.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement design solutions.
Ensure design consistency by following brand guidelines and design systems.
Participate in usability testing and analyze user behavior to identify improvement areas.
Design icons, graphics, and other visual elements as required.
Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills:

Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and user-centered design.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and user journey mapping.
Understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Eligibility:

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Multimedia, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
A portfolio showcasing academic, freelance, or personal design projects is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.
Experience with animation or interaction design is a plus.
